We have had a number of calls from people with Olive trees asking if we know what is eating their plants. After an inspection of our Olive hire stock last week we can confirm that there is a problem, however, thankfully our expert Pete Squires was at the end of the phone and he has confirmed that it appears to be an attack of Vine Weevil.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the poison that we use as it has to be applied by someone who has been trained and certified to chemically spray. However, there is a good article written by Sue Young @ uk.rec.gardening

Sue recommends using Bio Provado Vine Weevil Killer which should be available from garden centres.
